The Safe Clicks Seniors Program, organized by Newcomers Success Network (NSN Canada), was a free online digital safety session designed to help seniors navigate the digital world with greater confidence, awareness, and security.
Held on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM via Zoom, the session focused on practical and easy-to-understand tips for staying safe while using computers, smartphones, email, websites, WhatsApp, and social media.
The program addressed some of the most common online risks faced by seniors, including scam emails, fraudulent calls and messages, suspicious links, and online privacy threats. Participants learned how to recognize warning signs and take simple steps to protect their personal information. The session also covered safe browsing practices, password security, and protecting sensitive information online.
A key part of the program was helping seniors understand the growing role of technology and simple AI awareness. The session provided practical guidance without complicated technical language, making the information accessible and useful for everyday digital activities.
The program was presented by Jyoti Singh, Founder of We Love Digital Marketing Inc., and offered an opportunity for seniors to learn, ask questions, and become more confident in using digital tools safely.
