Who we are

Community Starts With Connection

NSN Canada brings people, resources and opportunities together so individuals can participate more fully in their communities and build stronger futures.

Our work centres on three communities with different needs but a shared desire to belong, grow and contribute – Newcomers building a life in Canada, Women pursuing economic and entrepreneurial opportunities, and Seniors seeking connection, wellbeing and continued engagement.

Rather than approaching these communities in isolation, we create programs and partnerships that strengthen individuals, families and the broader community.

Our Focus

Three Communities. One Stronger Future.

Our Values

What Guides Our Work

Inclusion

Every person deserves to feel seen, respected and welcomed. We create spaces where different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives are valued.

Empowerment

Support should create independence, not dependency. Our programs help people develop the knowledge, confidence and connections needed to move forward.

Community

Strong communities are built through meaningful relationships. We bring people together to learn from one another, collaborate and create a sense of belonging.

Opportunity

Potential should not be limited by where someone was born, their age or where they are in their journey. We work to create pathways to participation, leadership and growth.

Integrity

Trust is fundamental to community work. We aim to operate transparently, responsibly and with respect for the people and partners we serve.

How We Work

Community-Led. Practical. Collaborative.

We believe strong programs begin by understanding real community needs. Our approach combines direct community engagement, practical programming, mentorship, partnerships and continuous learning.

We collaborate with community members, professionals, volunteers, businesses, organizations and institutions tocreate initiatives that are relevant, accessible and capable of growing with the communities they serve.

Listen First

Understand community needs before designing solutions.

Build Together

Create programs with partners and community participation.

Deliver Practical Support

Focus on resources and experiences people can actually use.

Learn & Grow

Use feedback and outcomes to continuously improve our work.

Jyoti Singh

Director

Jyoti Singh is a business coach and marketing strategist with over 20 years of experience across the UK, USA, Australia, India, and Canada. Her career began in sales and call-centre operations before she co-founded a telecom business in Australia, and she holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship. That path eventually led her into digital marketing, where she founded We Love Digital Marketing, first in India and later in Canada.

We Love Digital Marketing Inc. now serves local and small businesses across the Greater Toronto Area, where Jyoti leads strategy, paid advertising, and client relationships using her S.T.R.I.D.E. framework of strategic planning, targeted growth, results-driven execution, insightful analysis, data-backed decisions, and effective implementation. She is also the founder of IWEC (Immigrant Women Entrepreneurs Canada), a community platform built to close the support gaps she saw for immigrant women entrepreneurs through mentorship, connection, and shared experience. Across both ventures, she works by one rule: never withhold information, knowledge, or insight from a client, even when it’s discouraging, and some of her client relationships have lasted more than fifteen years as a result.

Aparna Rangnekar

Director

In 2026, Aparna Rangnekar was named one of Canada’s Top 25 Canadian Immigrants, presented by Canadian Immigrant magazine and Western Union, in the Artist and Educator category, honoured for her work in culture and community arts in Milton, Ontario.

Aparna is a visual artist, muralist, art educator, and curator originally from Mumbai, India. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Sir J.J. School of Art, majoring in mural arts, along with postgraduate training in ceramics and pottery. After living in the Middle East, she and her husband Sanjay relocated to Milton, Ontario with their two children, drawn by the town’s cultural diversity, and has built a career spanning more than two decades since.

Deepa Bajaj

Director

Deepa Bajaj holds a rare combination of credentials in her field: formal training in hair and advanced esthetics from the prestigious VLCC Academy of Health & Beauty Management in New Delhi, a hairstyling licence earned in Ontario, Canada, and a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) licence obtained in 2018. That foundation is what allowed her to found Nirvana Salon & Spa in 2008 and grow it into a full-service beauty and wellness destination across the Greater Toronto Area.

As CEO and Artistic Director, Deepa leads a team of qualified hair stylists, estheticians, and spa technicians, and continues to personally define the brow artistry and makeup standards Nirvana is recognized for. She has since taken her expertise beyond her own salon walls through The Brow Academy, where she trains other women in eyebrow and facial threading, turning her own career into a pathway for theirs. Her work reflects a career built deliberately, credential by credential, into genuine industry authority.
